Hands of Nepal is officially registered in the USA but all of the hard work happens in Nepal. We are fortunate to partner with two of the most respected and experienced individuals in Nepal who work daily with micro-enterprises and home based artisanal workers in the apparel sector.
NEPAL
Ms. Gabriella Cocco Greaves is the founder of GCHANDMADE, a small hand weaving center in Nepal, where the majority of employees are village women. Her designs are found in fashion stores in New York City, Milan, and around the world. Gabriella is also an advocate and supporter of micro-enterprises in Nepal.
Mr. Robin Amatya is the CEO of SABAH Nepal, a nonprofit organization registered in Nepal with a network of over 1,100 home based workers across Nepal. SABAH Nepal focuses on helping rural and urban poor women achieve economic self-sufficiency.
USA
Janis Heath: Janis lives in Texas with her husband and two daughters. Janis loves to travel and has a passion to help orphans and women at risk. She loves fashion and hand-made apparel and crafts.
Kelly Gill: Kelly lives in Utah with her husband and daughter. Kelly is a full-time teacher, also loves to travel, and is passionate about handmade apparel, Nepal, and helping others.
